Tutte le aste / Arte Contemporanea / Mart Signed (XX) - THE RIGHT TO DISAPPEAR

Gallery value: Original stencil works by Mart Signed, not prints, are offered through European galleries with indicative price ranges between €3,000 and €4,000, reflecting the positioning and collecting interest reached by the artist’s work. Technique: Spray stencil on salvaged street materials, selected to preserve the identity and authenticity of the street art language. Material (XPS Boards (Extruded Polystyrene Panels)): 60x60 Dimensions: The indicated sizes refer to the proposed piece and should be considered approximate due to the irregular shape and perimeter of the fragment. Certificate of authenticity: Included and signed by the artist. Some images show a simulation of the work displayed in an environment and are only intended to give an idea of how it might appear. To evaluate the work, scroll through the details. Broken Wall Broken Wall emerges from Mart Signed’s exploration of the relationship between street art, matter, and urban memory. The project brings a fragment of street language into homes, galleries, and private collections, transforming a surface marked by time into a contemporary artwork. The wall is not merely the support of the image, but becomes an integral part of the work. Its surface, the breaks, the traces of time, and the natural characteristics of the material preserve the link with the urban context from which street art arises. The fracture thus becomes an element of the artistic language: the boundary between the street and the exhibition space is broken, and the urban fragment finds a new placement. The work The work does not impose a single answer, but leaves each observer free to find their own interpretation. The stencil is created directly on the support: this is not a print or reproduction. The artwork depicted in the photographs is exactly what the collector will receive. Materials and authenticity Materials salvaged from the street are chosen to maintain a living connection with the original street art language. Marks, abrasions, surface variations, irregularities and natural imperfections are not defects, but elements belonging to the material’s history and the artwork’s identity. These characteristics are deliberately preserved and integrated into the creative process. The work is signed, accompanied by the certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, and delivered ready to hang. The frame is not included unless otherwise indicated for the specific piece. Instagram and project participation The journey of the artwork can continue even after purchase. Collectors can share their work on Instagram by tagging @martsigned and using the hashtag #MartSigned. Works correctly tagged can be reposted by the artist through their channels, showcasing the different destinations reached by the works and creating a direct connection between the artist, the collector, and the public. Periodically, special initiatives, raffles, or small street art-related gifts can also be organized through social networks. Participation is voluntary and independent of the purchase of the work. Any terms and conditions will be communicated through the artist’s official channels. The artist Mart Signed is an Italian street artist active internationally. His works are part of private collections in numerous countries, and his artistic research revolves around the concept “Where Are You Street Art?”: bringing the language and material of the street into homes, galleries, private collections, and spaces traditionally distant from the urban context. Over the years, Mart Signed has built an international presence through collaborations and relationships with various art-world entities. His research relates street art, urban memory, salvaged materials, and spatial transformation. In 2023, Mart Signed also participated in a documentary dedicated to Banksy and the street art culture. Shipping The work is shipped via specialized couriers managed by Mail Boxes Etc. Each piece is carefully packed, protected, and insured, with particular attention to the most delicate parts and the irregular shape of the support. Shipping includes full tracking from dispatch to delivery. In case of a high number of shipments, preparation and delivery may require a few additional days. For any information regarding shipping, you can contact the artist directly via the platform. Edition and uniqueness Broken Wall comprises a limited series of 20 unique works. Each piece is produced individually, and no two pieces can be identical. The shape of the support, the fracture, the surface, the marks, the imperfections, and the material characteristics naturally vary from piece to piece, making each piece unrepeatable. The 20 works share the same artistic concept and the same core idea, but each maintains its own physical and visual identity. They are not 20 copies or reproductions of the same work, but 20 unique and different pieces, all part of the Broken Wall series. Each work is identified by a specific code printed on the certificate of authenticity.
