Hellenistic Gold Pendant – 4th to 1st Century BC A finely crafted Hellenistic gold pendant displaying the exceptional artistry and refined aesthetics of the Greek world during the Hellenistic period. The pendant is centered around an elegant eight-petaled rosette with a raised central boss, from which three delicately braided arms extend, each terminating in smaller floral elements executed with intricate openwork decoration. Floral motifs such as these were closely associated with beauty, prosperity, and divine symbolism, making pendants of this type both prestigious personal ornaments and meaningful expressions of status and belief. Despite careful restoration, the piece retains its original elegance and remains an attractive example of ancient Hellenistic goldsmithing.
