French registration certificate; roadworthiness test up to date The fastest 125cc bike of its time, reaching 130 km/h with surprising ease – an easy-to-ride and enjoyable motorbike. In 1976, Yamaha launched the RDX 125, a small motorbike with a strong character that was very much in keeping with the tradition of Japanese bikes of that era. Elegant, lightweight and dynamic, it appeals with its mechanical simplicity and sporty character. Designed for everyday use, it is also particularly enjoyable on leisurely rides and weekend getaways. It is powered by a 123 cm³ air-cooled two-stroke twin-cylinder engine, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Lively and nimble, the RDX 125 offers the riding pleasure characteristic of Yamaha’s small-capacity bikes from the 1970s, with simple and efficient mechanics that contribute greatly to its charm. This 1977 model is in exceptionally good condition. Its current owner, a Japanese motorbike enthusiast, has taken great care to preserve and showcase this Yamaha, paying particular attention to its authenticity and presentation. If you are looking for a rare and endearing model, this 1977 Yamaha RDX 125, meticulously restored whilst respecting its authenticity, is sure to appeal to both Yamaha collectors and enthusiasts of 1970s Japanese motorbikes. A lightweight, elegant machine full of character, which perfectly exemplifies Yamaha’s craftsmanship of that era. Please note that the motorbike requires a running-in period due to the extensive mechanical work carried out, notably the replacement of the piston and piston rings.
