LAURENCIN Marie (1885-1956). 2 L.A.S. "Votre petite Marie", to MISIA SERT; 1 page in-4, and 1 page in-8 on blue paper addressed to Ste-Marie-au-Bosc. She spent the week at Beauregard: "Boy [Capel, Chanel's lover] was doing formidably well when I left"; she gives news of Léon Bailby and Albert [Flament]. She plans to go to Lourdes in mid-September to make her devotions: "It's been a promise for three years - although perhaps it would be more to thank the Blessed Virgin for taking me at this time. If I think about life and work, I'm really fed up. Don't tell anyone - we're proud. She says goodbye to her darling and signs "Your little Marie"... Ste-Marie-au-Bosc. Lovely bill, surrounded by an arabesque of plant decoration in pen: "My beautiful and dear Misia, This little note to kiss you. I hope to return to Paris with the strength of the Lions and to dart at whomever you wish. Your little Marie".
