Augusta Auctions is a North American based auction house. They specialize exclusively in vintage and historic clothing, rare textiles, jewelry and fashion accessories. Augusta Auctions is owned by the married couple Karen E. Augusta and Bob Ross whom both have a long history working with textile in various ways. Karen Augusta is a member of the Costume Society of America and the Textile Society of America. She has sold, purchased and appraised textiles and antique clothing for almost four decades as well as curating many costume and lace exhibits in North America. Augusta Auctions arranges two to three sales per year in New York City or Massachusetts. The sales contain objects from museums, historical societies and universities alongside private collections. Augusta Auctions is North America's premier auction house within their genre and have represented numerous famous institutions like Brooklyn Museum of Art and Fashion Institute of Technology.
