This is an authentic Camel "Das Original." promotional Zippo lighter, manufactured in December 1991 (L VII) for the German market. Released as part of an exclusive early 1990s European campaign, the lid prominently features the German slogan "Das Original." above the iconic Camel pack graphics (the camel, pyramids, and palm trees). Regional language promotional Zippos from the early 90s are significantly harder to find than their standard counterparts. Factory Serial / Lot Number Detail: Rear Inscription: Features a factory-printed internal identification number "118" on the lower reverse panel, designating its place within this limited German promotional distribution batch. Key Features & Authenticity Details: Bottom Stamp: Authentic Zippo logo with date codes "L" (December) on the left and "VII" (1991) on the right. Bradford, PA. Made in U.S.A. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The brushed chrome casing maintains a high luster with sharp, vibrant graphics. Tight hinge, clean chimney, and mechanism.
