Tutte le aste / Tappeti, Tappezzerie & Tessuti / Ziegler - Rug - 348 cm - 278 cm
This hand-knotted Ziegler-Farahan rug from Pakistan impresses with its elaborately constructed, classic design and its particularly elegant color effect. The light field is dominated by a striking dark blue central medallion, which along the longitudinal axis is accompanied by further smaller medallion and cartouche shapes. Fine tendrils, stylized blossoms, and symmetrically arranged decorative elements fill the surface, giving the rug a very detailed, balanced impression. Particularly characteristic is the wide dark blue main border, designed with large floral motifs and providing a clear contrast to the light interior field. Several narrow side borders further frame the design and emphasize the classical, representative effect. The color palette is elegant and warm at once. Dominant are beige, sand, and light natural tones, combined with dark blue, brown, taupe, and subdued rust tones. The strong dark blue accents add depth and structure to the rug, while the warm base color creates a calm, harmonious overall impression. With its generous format of 348 × 278 cm, the rug is especially suitable for large living and dining areas, libraries, offices, or representative rooms.
