The round case is distinguished by its wraparound classic lines, fully finished with a mirror-bright polished shine. The crown at 3 o'clock is a main knurled, press-fit onion-style crown in vintage design, flanked at 2 and 4 o'clock by two smooth-profile chronograph pushers. The back is protected by a solid screw-down steel case back with engraved commemorative logos and manufacture specifications. Dial color: Silver with a matte finish for high legibility. The layout, dense and finely detailed in full vintage aviation-instrument style from the early 20th century, features a dual peripheral outer scale: the Telemetry scale and the Tachymeter scale for calculating average speed. The chronograph configuration provides only two counters arranged vertically: chronograph minutes up to 60 at 12 o'clock and continuously running small seconds at 6 o'clock. The main hour indices and the baton minutes are finely printed in black. It carries the classic ‘Breguet’ style hands in matte black. At 9 o'clock is printed the official steel logo applied in relief and the word ZEPPELIN, balanced to the right by the italic 100 Jahre next to a rectangular date window at 3 o'clock.
