Yellow spherical fluorite on quartz

Rare specimen of yellow spherical fluorite on quartzite, completely natural, of excellent mineralogical and aesthetic value. This sample is characterized by good crystal formation that allows appreciating the shapes of the crystal faces. The crystals grown, naturally, in an excellent way, possess intense colors. Furthermore, this specimen is characterized by elevated shapes, colors and rarity. Fluorite is known for its fluorescence when exposed to UV rays; from this property its name derives. Also, crystals of high-purity fluorite are used in precision optical systems for their low chromatic dispersion and high transmission in the ultraviolet and infrared regions. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the field of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, except for extremely rare exceptions always indicated in the description. Photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight tonal variations may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
