The gemstone has been examined and certified by GRS GemResearch Swisslab, an internationally recognized Swiss gemological laboratory specializing in the identification and origin determination of important colored gemstones. According to the GRS report, the sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin (Ceylon). The report states H – indications of heating. The stone has also been LIBS-tested, and a Color Stability Test – Type 3b was applied by GRS.
