About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools, currently living and working in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation, and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with deep artistic sensitivity. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the field of digital art, using contemporary media to explore themes related to nature, landscape, and the intimate relationship between woman and her surroundings. Her works address with subtlety and visual strength themes such as beauty, love, sensuality, and feminine delicacy, always set within enveloping, romantic, and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, yielding versatile, fresh, and deeply evocative works. The painterly texture of her images, the masterful use of color, and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a current artistic proposal with high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The artwork will be carefully packed by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to ensure its integrity during transport. Shipments are carried out through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx, or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. Estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, though it may vary depending on the destination country. This imposing digitalized sculptural work reinterprets the classical myth of Cupid through the lens of the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, the art of repairing the damaged with gold resin to exalt its history and resilience. The figure of the god of romantic desire, sculpted with perfect classical anatomy and dynamically suspended above dense clouds of ivory porcelain, is shown with bronze skin scored by an intricate network of fine golden veins that simulate the fractured traces of traditional ceramics. By merging the strength of the divine archer with the delicacy of these golden junctions, the piece evokes a powerful visual metaphor: love itself as a force that fractures, reconstructs, and strengthens through its own wounds. With a superb balance between the dramatic volume of its plumage wings, the tension of the bow, and the details of burnished gold, this work establishes itself as an extraordinary addition of conceptual and aesthetic value for top-tier contemporary art collections.
