Wxyz (1980) - "322-1"

WXYZ (1980) – “322-1” (2026) Original Concrete Sculpture – Unique Piece (1/1) Original sculpture in concrete, entirely handcrafted and hand-painted by French street artist WXYZ. With its vibrant colors and distinctive pixelated silhouette, “322-1” embodies the meeting point between urban art, contemporary sculpture and pop culture. Cast in concrete using a mould created from the artist’s original model, each sculpture is individually finished and meticulously painted by hand with acrylic colors. The composition features a striking mosaic of vivid blues, fluorescent oranges, pinks, reds, whites and deep blacks, arranged in a rhythmic geometric pattern. The contrast between these bright colors and the raw, textured concrete creates a unique visual identity. Small surface irregularities, tiny air bubbles and subtle imperfections are deliberately preserved, celebrating the authentic character of concrete and recalling the weathered surfaces of urban walls. From Graffiti to Sculpture The “322-1” is an emblematic figure in WXYZ’s artistic universe, born from his transition from graffiti to three-dimensional art. Its name refers directly to Article 322-1 of the French Penal Code, concerning damage to property — a reference to the artist’s roots in graffiti culture. Through this iconic character, WXYZ transforms the visual language of the street into a tangible contemporary artwork. Both playful and architectural, the sculpture combines the nostalgic charm of pixel art with the raw energy of street art.
