WMF - Relief

You are looking at a WMF Zinn pewter repousse from The Nightwatch (Die Nacthwache) by Rembrandt van Rijn from The Netherlands made by J.A. Wennekes. It has an oak wood frame. On the repousse it reads in the left corner J.A. Wennekes. Below the repousse on the frame is a name plaque reading: Rembrandt van Rijn 1606-1669 Die Nachtwache (in German because of Zinn pewter, in Dutch it is De Nachtwacht). On the back is a circle mark in the pewter which reads: WMF Zinn Ges. Gesch. In good condition with minor wear.
