Very beautiful antique WMF ice bucket, made of hammered brass, characteristic of German Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) production from the early 20th century. The body features an elegant hammered surface, enhanced on the front with a stylized relief decoration in sinuous lines, typical of Jugendstil decorative vocabulary. The details seem heightened by a metal with a silvery tint, creating a nice contrast with the warm color of brass. The bucket is equipped with two movable side handles, with a geometric design that is particularly successful. The underside bears the model number 123. In overall good condition.
