Westinghouse X9.5B Experimental Jet Engine

1945/1946 Westinghouse X9.5B experimental turbojet engine. One of 20 9.5B engines produced, along with 24 earlier 9.5A engines, as part of Westinghouse's pioneering development of small turbojet engines in the United States. The 9.5B was an improved version of the 9.5A/J32 design. The development program was ultimately cancelled. An early surviving artifact of American jet propulsion development.
