Wedgwood - Coffee and tea service (56) - Earthenware

Wedgwood "Queen's Shape" & "Briar Rose" – Mixed creamware coffee/tea set – 56 pieces – England Exceptional 56-piece set from the famous British manufacturer Wedgwood, produced in the classic "Queen's Shape" style in fine cream-colored earthenware (creamware). This elegant set includes delicate floral motifs ("Briar Rose") as well as coordinated neutral pieces. Lot composition (56 pieces total): • Tea/Coffee cups with floral decorations and fluted finishes • Coordinated neutral cups • Radiant-relief saucers in the "Queen's Shape" • Dessert plates / presentation plates • Sugar shaker with lid • Small ashtray / table compote Lot condition: Good overall condition with only very light signs of use or age. Transparency note: This is a mixed lot. With the exception of two pairs, the cups are not original to their saucers, but the whole set harmonizes perfectly thanks to the fluted lines characteristic of Wedgwood's "Queen's Shape" collection.
