Wallendorf - Figurine - Ballerina inginocchiata con coroncina - Porcelain

Refined sculpture in fine porcelain produced by the historic German manufacturer Wallendorf, founded in 1764. The piece depicts a charming ballerina in a dynamic and graceful pose on the ground, focused on refining the details of her performance or undoing her ballet slippers. The figurine stands out for the great expressiveness of the face, the delicate hand-painted details (including the facial features and the hair pulled back) and the elegant finishes in gilt applied to the decorative crown and to the pointe shoes.
