Wall sconce (4) - Wood - Carved gold leaf, 19th century

Two pairs, four wall sconces, carved in wood with gilding in fine gold leaf, of authentic Florentine craftsmanship, Italy, 19th century. The sconces are literally wonderful, with substantial gilding and in excellent condition. There are very old restorations and some signs of wear, but with restorations from the past. The sconces are carved with great craftsmanship and enhanced by exceptional gilding. These large pieces of furniture are perfect for furnishing villas, hotels, houses, and important residences; generally classic settings. Each sconce is fitted with 2 light points, 8 in total; the wiring should be reviewed and has not been tested. Congratulations to the winner of this!
