Wall mirror - Wood

Large wall mirror in elegant and scenographic Italian Barocchetto style, created in the mid-20th century (circa 1950s–1960s). The structure features a rich wooden frame finely shaped, carved and finished with brilliant gilding (gold leaf or classic gold finish), which gives warmth and great luminosity to the entire piece. The design stands out for a sinuous and eclectic line typical of Venetian and Italian art furniture: the upper portion culminates in an imposing and ostentatious pierced crest rich in volutes, scrolls and geometric-leaf motifs. The sides and base follow the same movement with elegant 'C' elements and contoured joints, which impart a strong sense of dynamism and three-dimensionality to the object. The inner mirror faithfully follows the moved and broken profile of the frame, creating a decoratively striking visual effect, ideal for classic salons, grand entrances, fireplaces, or to create an eclectic contrast in a modern interior.
