About the Artist Olga Volha Piashko is an internationally exhibited artist with a background in fine and graphic arts. Her artistic research encompasses a wide range of styles and media, evolving from realism and surrealism toward an increasingly personal and expressive abstract language. Her work is driven by a profound exploration of the relationship between colour, space and human emotion, focusing on the way contrasting elements interact and influence our perception. Recurring themes include the interplay of light and shadow, duality and extremes, and organic forms immersed in surreal environments. Throughout her career, Piashko has received prestigious national and international recognitions and has exhibited her work in important cultural and institutional venues in Italy and abroad. Prestigious Awards & International Recognition Among the artist's most significant achievements are two particularly prestigious recognitions connected with major Italian and international institutions: 2012 – Presidential Award, Italy First Prize in the competition for the creation of a fan dedicated to the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, organized by the Parliamentary Press.
