Tutte le aste / Nautica, Tecnica e Ottica / Voigtländer Superb Twin lens reflex camera (TLR)
The Voigtländer Superb is a sophisticated twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera with a vertical axis for 120-format film (6x6). It features a robust metal body coated in black faux leather, characterized by a unique mechanical system for its era: the film moves horizontally from right to left, rather than vertically as in competing Rolleiflex models. The camera is distinguished by the presence of two superimposed lenses: the upper one is used for framing through the viewfinder with frosted glass, while the lower one is used for taking the photograph. The taking lens (usually a Skopar or an Heliar of 75mm) is housed in a central Compur shutter. Among the unique technical details are the small upper mirror prism for reading shutter speeds from above and the advanced mechanical system that tilts the upper lens to automatically correct parallax error in close-up photos.
