Two decorative glazed ceramic masks, in the shape of a smiling theatrical face, mounted on a turquoise rectangular base. The contrast between cobalt blue, white and turquoise is quite distinctive. On the back the artist's signature reads “ACAD…EMIA ITALY”, The mask may recall the Commedia dell'Arte theatrical masks, Mounted on a glazed ceramic base with four holes for wall mounting and possible use as a clothes hook. The writing on the back seems to be «ACCADEMIA ITALY», Measurements and weight of the two objects for the enamel ceramic work confirm artisanal craftsmanship and dating to the 1940s.
