VINTAGE ROE, MUNTJAC & CHINESE WATER DEER TAXIDERMY.

A vintage three-figure tabletop taxidermy habitat mount featuring a roe deer, a muntjac deer, and a Chinese water deer — the three figures posed at varying heights and angles on a naturalistic sculpted stone-and-grass base. The roe deer stands alert with antlers raised, the muntjac is mid-level, and the Chinese water deer grazes downward at the front, its characteristic fang-like canines visible. 32”H x 24”W. Provenance: from the famed and published collection of Roger Donahue.
