Vintage Necklace With Sapphire & Diamonds Set in Gold, c. 1985

Polished gold surfaces, boldly coloured gemstones and large forms are characteristic features of jewellery from the 1980s. This era celebrated powerful designs and took pleasure in showcasing luxury. Each of the fully solid links, with domed upper surfaces, is flexibly connected to the next.
