Title: The Centaur Technique: oil on canvas Dimensions: 70 x 70 cm Year: 1998 Together with the painting an authenticated photo will be attached. Fast and secure shipping. The undulating shapes of his compositions arise from compression on the mark across the entire image, shaping a stylistic interpretation. It is a concentrated exploration of the ebb and flow of volumes, where the image appears wavy, but in reality it is pressed, compressed indeed! Figuratively speaking: the contemporary man floats in his actions and implodes in the behaviors of his becoming. Brief biography: Vincenzo Amicone was born in Antwerp (Belgium) on September 21, 1969. He studied at: "The Academy of Fine Arts of Rome". Artistic current: Contemporary genre painting, with characters and deconstructed shapes. P.S: For a more in-depth overview: Type into Google
