Vincent STREIFF - Le Robot Rebelle – Tableau Pop Art sur bois de palette

Original work and unique piece (1/1) by the French artist Vincent Streiff (VincePopArt). Vincent Streiff's process begins well before painting: he recovers pallets that could no longer be used, deconstructs them board by board, then entirely hand-shapes a custom support, cut and carefully sanded for this particular work. Each painting thus comes from wood with a unique history—grain, knots, irregular cuts—which becomes the signature of Vincent Streiff's style, between pop art and street art. The irreverent robot from the cult science-fiction animated series displays its sly smile on a background of fluorescent paint, stickers and street-art lettering.
