Vincent STREIFF - Le Pirate de l'Espace – Tableau Pop Art...

Original and unique piece (1/1) by the French artist Vincent Streiff (VincePopArt). Vincent Streiff's work begins well before the painting: he recovers palettes that could no longer be used, dismantles them plank by plank, then entirely by hand shapes a custom support, cut and carefully sanded for this specific work. Each painting thus arises from wood with a unique history – grain, knots, irregular cuts – which becomes the signature of Vincent Streiff's style, between pop art and street art. The scarred corsair of space, iconic hero of Japanese animation, fixes the horizon in the middle of a collage of comics, marker strokes and spray jets: a strong and melancholic work.
