VIMOPAR - Perséfone sobre dorado, XXL.

VMP is a Spanish visual artist, a Doctor of Art and Research, whose practice combines contemporary figurative painting with cinematic experimentation and animation. His career is backed by numerous awards and selections in exhibitions and showcases. This original work, created in 2026, measures 146 × 97 cm. It is a figurative study on golden and silver backgrounds, made with gold leaf, gold acrylics, and high-quality enamels. The golds evoke divine light and the splendor of Persephone's return to the world; the pinks and the flowers allude to spring that the goddess returns to the earth after her passage through the underworld. The artist begins the piece with acrylic paint and finishes it with oil glazes using Liquin, which adds depth, luminosity, and a surface of rich material quality. The stated measurement refers to the painted surface; the canvas retains extra fabric at the edges to facilitate handling and subsequent framing. The work will be shipped rolled, protected with bubble wrap and cardboard or a rigid support, to ensure its proper preservation during transport. Some images may correspond to montages or edited photographs with a frame. In them, the texture of the paint, the apparent size, or some detail, such as the signature, may vary slightly from the physical work. Therefore, numerous unedited photographs are attached, taken under different lighting.
