Decorative tray in Jugendstil style, made in silver-plated metal circa 1890-1900, with a relief depiction of a female figure playing a lute The composition features a profile view of a female figure, dressed in a tunic with long folds, surrounded by small floral motifs. The outline is decorated with branches, leaves and fruits, characteristic of the Art Nouveau ornamental repertoire. On the reverse side it retains a label with the inscription «Sammlung Langer»; it belonged to the private collection of Alfred Langer and is documented in the catalog of the Leipzig Museum of Applied Arts exhibition, from 21 November 2003 to 29 February 2004.
