In-4, Bradel-style calfskin binding with natural grain, special floral motif (a pair of birds beak-to-beak) gilded on the spine, untrimmed, cover and spine, slipcase (publisher’s binding). Illustrations by A. Robaudi, etched in color and reproduced by the poupée process, including a frontispiece and 22 full-page illustrations. Printed in an edition of 125 copies. Copy on vellum paper, in the publisher’s veal-skin-lined hardcover, enhanced with a set of 49 illustrations on China paper.
