Exceptional and elegant bottle with the stopper from the "Canne" series, designed by Gio Ponti in 1956 for Venini. As clearly seen in the second image, the base bears the precious diamond-point engraved signature "venini 94". This certifies that the piece was made in 1994, an excellent year for collecting Murano glass. The "a canne" technique involves the hot fusion of vertical colored glass canes. In this specific piece, the chromatic alternation masterfully unites deep blue and emerald/aquamarine green, creating a geometric dynamism typical of Gio Ponti's refined taste. Excellent condition - Original H 29 cm. - diam. 9 Fine workmanship, excellent condition - coming from my own collection built up over the last thirty years of works from the best Murano glassworks such as Venini, Barovier & Toso, Salviati, Archimede Seguso, Carlo Moretti, Seguso V.A., V.
