Vasetto Vintage Murano - Anni '60 - Vase - Murano Art...

Vintage Artistic Glass Bottle/Jar from Murano – White Canes in Reticello, Green and Aventurine – Italy, 1960s A refined work of art that embodies the unmistakable elegance of Italian Mid-Century Modern design. This splendid ribbed glass bottle-jar with a coordinated stopper, dating from the 1960s, is an authentic masterpiece of Murano glassmaking tradition. Characterized by complex technical craftsmanship and a striking visual impact, it is the ideal piece for art glass collectors, perfect to adorn a vintage vanity or as a refined decorative accessory. The Workmanship The faceted, geometric body is handcrafted using the spiral-arranged canes technique. Strips of reticello white, a vibrant green glass, and the precious aventurine alternate harmoniously, creating a chromatic contrast of great appeal. The presence of the characteristic shimmering copper crystals within the aventurine gives the object golden flashes and a unique three-dimensional luminosity. The Shape and Details The design features a highly pronounced raised ribbed texture that adds dynamism and depth to the piece. The spiral veins catch and refract light from every angle, highlighting the beauty of the glass and the colors. The Stopper The piece retains its precious original hand-made stopper, spherical and rich in inclusions of golden aventurine, perfectly fitted to the bell-shaped neck of the jar. In addition to completing the proportions and harmony of the form, it serves as a splendid focal light crowning the work.
