Vase - Height: 35 cm - Glass

Elegant Vase in Artistic Submerged and Bubbling Glass - Heat-Worked Application - Mid-Century Modern Two-Tone Design - 1960s This magnificent object is an artistic design vase in heavy blown glass, characterized by a complex multi-layer construction and a refined two-tone design with submerged bubbles. Its elegantly contoured shape and bold color combination strongly recall the iconic creations of mid-20th century artistic glass (Mid-Century Modern style). The structure of the piece, notable for its thickness and weight, highlights several glassmaking techniques of great refinement: • Upper Band: Made from bright olive-green transparent glass, softly contoured to gradually narrow toward the mouth with a narrow neck. • Central Band: A characteristic hot-applied ring insert in very thick transparent glass to weld the green upper part with the white lower part, skillfully decorated with the "bullicante" technique to trap a crown of controlled and evenly spaced air bubbles. • Lower Body: A slender yet imposing base in matte white milk glass, creating a strong and sophisticated geometric and visual contrast with the transparency of the upper part. Dimensions: • Height: 35 cm • Maximum diameter: 16 cm Conditions The object is presented in perfect conservational condition. The glass, particularly thick and heavy, is perfectly intact, glossy, and free of defects, chips, or cracks. Packaging and Shipping The lot will be packed with the utmost care and professionalism and shipped by an international express courier, with the tracking code provided promptly to monitor delivery online.
