Vase (2) - Porcelain - Set amphora Vases

Pair of large porcelain Sèvres-style vases in green glaze with English hunting scenes featuring horses and hounds & gilded details. An impressive and highly decorative pair of large porcelain vases, executed in the Sèvres style. The vases are finished in a rich empire-green glaze and feature refined gold-colored decorative borders. Each vase has a classic amphora shape with detailed handles in the form of horse heads with wings (Pegasus motif), enriched with subtle gilded accents. The body and the square foot of the vases are adorned with detailed round medallions depicting romantic English hunting scenes with horses and riders in traditional red hunting attire. At the bottom, the vases are marked with a blue underglaze mark (inverted L's with a 'S', inspired by the historic Sèvres mark). The vases have a height of 38.5 cm. They are 17 cm wide and 14 cm deep. The base of the vases measures 11 x 11 cm. The vases weigh about 2 kg each. These handsome vases are in excellent condition. The amphora vases are carefully packaged and shipped.
