Flowers among Books brings together two worlds that seem to grow together: that of nature and that of reading. In front of a library full of volumes, a large bouquet of flowers appears, transforming an ordinary corner into a scene where time seems to move more slowly. The flowers occupy the space freely, almost as if they had escaped from the vase to mingle visually with the books. Behind them, a succession of spines, lines and colors builds a second landscape, more orderly and geometric, contrasting with the organic movement of the leaves. Valdi thus finds beauty in an intimate and recognizable scene. Color makes the library more than just a backdrop: books, flowers and objects coexist as small presences that speak of what we choose to surround ourselves with. A work that celebrates the pleasure of being at home, reading and the ability of flowers to transform even the most everyday corner. Original and unique work, created and signed by Valdi. It is delivered accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
