Val Saint Lambert & Delheid Frères - Large crystal Art Deco design bowl with .800 solid silver mount (23 cm) A magnificent and exclusive Art Deco crystal coupe / centerpiece, born from a prestigious Belgian collaboration between the famous crystal house Val Saint Lambert and the renowned Brussels silversmith Delheid Frères. This monumental bowl embodies the pure elegance of the Art Deco period (circa 1920–1940). The bowl is made of high-quality, heavy, and exceptionally clear crystal. The design stands out with its refined, geometrically faceted bands and arcs on the exterior, which flow into an impressive star-shaped cut (starburst) on the base. This creates a brilliant light refraction and the characteristic bright 'ping' sound of authentic top crystal. The top is masterfully finished with a striking wide, clean mount made of solid .800 silver. This silver band is a full 1.2 cm wide (visible on both the inside and outside). The silver edge was crafted by the renowned house Delheid Frères and bears the official assay mark (the keystone with the serpent) and the fineness mark 800. An extremely luxurious and timeless decorative collectible that fits perfectly in both classic and modern interiors.
