Umbrella stand/rack - Handmade volutes with an amaranth red finish

The entrance is the business card of every home, and this spectacular vintage wrought-iron umbrella stand "Coralo" was designed for those who want to greet guests with character, color, and refinement. Made in Italy in the 1970s, this accessory combines everyday practicality with the sculptural beauty of artisanal metalwork. Characterized by a slender, square footprint, the object stands out for its rich pattern of scrolls, curls, and pierced motifs in hand-forged metal. The finish in a fascinating patinated deep red / Bordeaux hue adds a bold and sophisticated touch, perfect for breaking the monotony of corridors and entrances, whether modern or classic. At the base lies a convenient integrated tray to collect water drips and protect the floor. This is not a mass-produced industrial item, but the craftsmanship of historic Italian wrought-iron workshops of the post-war era, a sector celebrated abroad for transforming crude metal into decorative lacework. Most wrought-iron umbrella stands of the era were finished in black; this red coloring makes it a true collectible and decorative piece. Compact and space-saving, it fits perfectly even in tight corners without weighing down the space. This umbrella stand naturally fits vintage, eclectic, rustic contexts or creates a contrasting element in contemporary spaces. An unmissable opportunity to own a piece of Made in Italy home-decor history. The two umbrellas shown in the staged photos are purely illustrative and are not included in the lot. Dimensions of the umbrella stand: 56x20x20 cm Used, it shows normal signs of use and wear, clearly visible in the gallery photos.
