Tutte le aste / Altro / Umbrella stand/rack (2) - Copper - Peerage Made In England

Set of a hammered and carved copper planter and umbrella stand. The planter is raised on 3 “lion paw” feet, sculpted in the metal where one can discern heraldic devices with a two-headed eagle and a shield bearing a fleur-de-lis, enhanced by a knight’s head, surrounded by two English lions. The umbrella stand is sculpted and hammered, enhanced by a coat of arms where one can discern a fleur-de-lis, a sword, two crossed keys, as well as a cross, surrounded by two English lions. "These criteria correspond very precisely to a specific coat of arms (historically linked to English domination in France or to ecclesiastical institutions): the shield flanked by two hands, combining Saint Peter’s keys with the sword, and the fleur-de-lis." The piece is stamped underneath in the mass with "PEERAGE Made In England." The base is very stable and heavy. The interior is in perfect condition. The set is in excellent condition, no impact/damage to report. The set weighs approximately 4.5 kg. Shipping is very securely packaged.
