Udo Lindenberg (1946) - 2er-Set - "Die Nachtigall und der...

For sale is a beautiful, two-piece set by the legendary German musician and painter Udo Lindenberg. Both motifs were originally designed exclusively for UNICEF, which Lindenberg has supported as an ambassador for decades. * Artist: Udo Lindenberg * Motif 1: "Happy X-Mas" (2016) * Motif 2: "Die Nachtigall und der Schnee-Män" (2017) * Object type: 2x Framed Mini Print (UNICEF Edition) * Framing: 2x silver aluminum frames (Format: 18 x 24 cm) * Passepartout: 2x black, acid-free slanted-edge mount (thickness: 1.4 mm), mounted with acid-free adhesive strips * Condition: Impeccable, like-new condition and ready to hang ("Ready to hang") The works reveal the artist's unmistakable, humorous cartoon style: typical silhouettes with hats, combined with a strong pacifist message. In both images the distinctive peace sign is centrally integrated – once in place of the treetop, once directly on the snowman’s belly. Motifs in the set: 1. "Happy X-Mas" The work shows two musicians in the typical, expressive style of the "Panische Malerei" (panic painting), standing back-to-back in front of a radiant Christmas tree, playing guitar. The tip of the tree is crowned by a distinctive peace symbol — a clear message for peace and unity during the Christmas season. The whole scene is set in a wintry starry night and closes with the printed inscription "HAPPY X-MAS Udo". 2. "Die Nachtigall und der Schnee-Män" This motif shows his typical, humorous graphic style, combined with a strong peace message: a smiling snowman with a Peace sign on the belly and the famous "Nachtigall" figure against a night-time starry sky.
