Two Wall Clocks, Late 19th/ Early 20th Century Comprising: a Viennese walnut example with porcelain dial marked "GB" for Gustav Becker; and a New Haven Clock Company banjo clock, with metal dial and eglomise panels decorated with a portrait of George Washington on neck and Mount Vernon on lower door. Dimensions: 16 1/2 in. wide, 6 1/4 in. deep, 45 in. high (the Becker clock); 8 1/4 in. wide, 4 in. deep, 23 in. high (the New Haven clock) Provenance: From descendants of Elizabeth Morris Wistar Condition Not examined for working order. The Becker clock with two weights and winding key, lacking pendulum. Other nicks, chips and scratches. The dial with minor scratches. The banjo clock lacking finial. Scratches and wear to metal dial.
