Two MSPCA Bronze Medal and 1934 Rabies Vaccination Tag

Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) commemorative medal and Pitman-Moore rabies vaccine tag. The scalloped bronze-tone medal features a central relief depicting an allegorical figure surrounded by a horse and dog, with the initials MSPCA accented in red enamel inlay. The reverse is inscribed with a presentation for encouraging kindness to animals within a laurel wreath border. The oval brass vaccination tag is stamped Pitman-Moore and dated 1934, including serial number 25490 and Rabies Vaccine text. Two pieces total. Dimensions: 2" dia. Weight: 2.2 oz.
