Two figurative pendants, Gan, Burkina Faso, 19th-20th centuries

Descriptio Copper alloy. Dimensions: 10.5 cm high. Set of two small figurative pendants made of copper alloy, featuring stylized human figures with a strong schematic character. The pieces are compact in design, with simplified volumes and an ornamental style linked to the Gan artistic tradition. The surface retains a dark patina with greenish and earthy tones, as well as oxidation and irregularities typical of the metal alloy and the passage of time. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
