Twin Aesthetics of Purple Skeletonized Amethyst

From our selection of collectible minerals we propose a splendid group of twin crystals of Amethyst from the Capurru Quarry, Osilo, Sardinia. Moreover, it is characterized by two twin crystals with a skeletonized habit (hopper), of an intense violet color, with clearly visible terminations and associated with small white quartz crystals on rock matrix, rare elements that increase its aesthetic value and mineralogical importance. The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with features that emphasize its natural structure and visual impact. Amethyst is the violet variety of quartz (SiO2), its color due to traces of iron in the crystal lattice combined with natural irradiation during its formation. Skeletonized or 'hopper' crystals form when growth at the edges and corners of the crystal is faster than that of the central faces, leaving stepped depressions on the surface. Sardinia, particularly the Osilo area, is known among collectors for findings of good-quality amethyst in hydrothermal veins associated with volcanic rocks. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the crystal therapy and lithotherapy field, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with rare exceptions always indicated in the description. Photos are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight tonal variations may occur depending on the device or ambient light. Shipping is carried out via reliable and selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1–2 working days in Europe), trackable and insured shipping and professional and safe packaging, as confirmed by customer reviews.
