His works, created in a street-art style and inspired by iconic figures like Blek le Rat and Banksy, are imbued with humor and satire, precious artistic weapons in his eyes. Truteau uses these devices to stand in opposition to ideas and situations commonly accepted. Dare, disrupt, unsettle, surprise—no matter. For Frédéric Truteau, the essential is to provoke a reaction by sharing his own view of things.
