Tutte le aste / Tappeti, Tappezzerie & Tessuti / Tropical Garden of a Thousand Colors - Upholstery fabric - 3 cm - 2.8 cm
This extraordinary cotton upholstery fabric features a rich and dramatic design that celebrates the beauty of tropical nature. On an elegant light background, a lush composition of intertwined branches, exotic flowers, decorative fruits, and splendid birds in vivid colors unfolds. The protagonists of the design are magnificent parrots and toucans with lively plumage, depicted perched on flowering branches or spreading their wings as if about to take flight. Their deep, bright colors, ranging from bright red to deep blue, from golden yellow to emerald green, create a fascinating contrast with the light background of the fabric. Around the birds develops a lush vegetation consisting of large tropical flowers, decorative leaves, and ornamental fruits in surprising shapes. The design is built with great balance, alternating vertical elements and natural branching that create an elegant and dynamic visual rhythm, as if you were inside an exotic garden full of life and color. The overall effect is refined and scenographic, capable of evoking the atmosphere of nineteenth-century botanical greenhouses or the naturalist illustrations of traveling explorers. Made in high-quality cotton for upholstery, this fabric has a sturdy and compact weave that guarantees solidity and durability over time. Cotton enhances the brilliance of the colors and allows you to appreciate every detail of the design with great clarity. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification ensures the fabric has been produced without harmful substances, making it safe for domestic use and ideal even for spaces frequented daily. Thanks to its lively and decorative character, this fabric is perfect for upholstering armchairs, chairs, or small sofas, transforming them into true protagonists of the environment. It is also ideal for decorative cushions capable of adding an exotic and artistic touch to the living room or relaxation area. It can also be used for decorative curtains, textile panels, or upholstered headboards, where the tropical motif becomes a scenographic element capable of transforming the room’s atmosphere. It is particularly suitable for eclectic, tropical, colonial, or contemporary spaces. During the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries many European naturalists traveled to tropical regions to study and catalog unknown plants and animals. Their discoveries were documented through splendid botanical and zoological illustrations, often produced with almost artistic precision. These images fascinated the European public deeply and became a source of inspiration for fabrics, wallpapers, and interior decorations that celebrated the wonder of distant lands and tropical biodiversity. Washing and Care: To maintain the beauty and quality of your precious fabric over time, it is important to follow some simple care instructions: Washing: It is recommended to wash the fabric by hand or in a washing machine on a delicate cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Use a mild detergent free of aggressive bleaching agents to preserve the vibrant colors. Drying: Avoid the dryer to not compromise the fibers. Hang the fabric to dry in the open air, avoiding long direct sun exposure, which could fade the colors. Ironing: Iron the fabric at low temperature, preferably with a cotton cloth on top, to avoid direct contact with the iron and keep the surface of the fabric impeccable. Professional cleaning: If used for furniture upholstery or large surfaces, professional dry cleaning is recommended for safer and longer-lasting maintenance. Following these simple guidelines, your fabric will maintain its splendor and integrity over time, continuing to enhance your spaces with class and refinement.
