Trilobite - Fossilised animal - Hollardops mesocristata...

Beautifully prepared trilobite with the scientific name: Hollardops mesocristata. This trilobite comes from the Hamar Laghdad Limestone formation from the Devonian near the town of Ofaten in southern Morocco. The size of the trilobite is 50 x 36 mm. The compound eyes are still nicely visible. Taken from my latest trip to Morocco in April 2026 The matrix measures 9.5 x 6.3 cm. The photos speak for themselves.
