Born in 1960 in Cao Lãnh, the capital of Đồng Tháp Province, located in the heart of the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam Tran Georges – Master Copyist and Virtuoso of Oil Painting A consummate artist and exceptional technician, Tran Georges has established himself as a master copyist of extraordinary talent. Based in Vietnam, he masters with striking precision the challenging art of oil painting on canvas, brilliantly capturing the brushwork, spirit, and palette of the greatest masters of world art history. From the geometric precision of Kandinsky’s abstract compositions to the swirling lyricism of Vincent van Gogh’s self-portraits, through the striking realism of Grant Wood’s American Gothic, the luminous aquatic atmospheres of David Hockney, to the dreamlike surrealism of Salvador Dalí’s melting clocks, Tran Georges recreates universal masterworks with remarkable fidelity. His meticulous craftsmanship, combining a keen eye for detail with perfect mastery of oil textures, testifies to a deep artistic sensibility. Each canvas reflects not only a rigorous copying process but also a true homage to icons of modern and classical painting.
