The intaglio embroidery is famous for its fineness, lightness, and transparency: an art passed down from generation to generation that requires precision, patience, and extraordinary manual skill. The technique consists in transferring onto the fabric a design created specifically to ultimately achieve a wide transparency resembling lace. The entire design is outlined with a double or triple stitching to give support to the fabric so it does not fray, then the connecting bars between the various motifs are created. Table service for 12 places. Size 175 x 270 cm. Tabletop and edge with rich intaglio, adorned with satin-stitch embroidery. Fabric: 100% Bellora linen Color: white Hand-embroidered intaglio tablecloth 12 napkins with intaglio embroidery This masterpiece, entirely handmade, represents an investment in the value of Italian craftsmanship and becomes an heirloom to be passed down, capable of preserving its beauty intact through generations.
