Totem Acoustic Rainmaker high-end 2-way monitor loudspeakers in the elegant Black Ash finish (ashwood black), designed and handmade in Montreal, Canada by Vince Bruzzese. Technically in 100% perfectly functioning condition and visually in absolute top condition, supplied complete with the original factory boxes. Among audiophiles, the Rainmaker is known as a legendary monitor speaker that delivers unprecedented grandeur and spaciousness from a compact enclosure. Typical of Totem Acoustic is the uncompromising build quality: the cabinets are crafted with artisanal mortise-and-tenon joints (lock-mitered joints) and internally coated with borosilicate (a damping ceramic dispersion layer), which eliminates internal resonances without the damping effect of thick layers of synthetic wool. This preserves the speaker’s breathtaking microdynamics and pure musicality. In terms of sound, the Rainmaker performs with remarkable speed, immense rhythmic precision, and a holographically deep stereo image. The bass is astonishingly deep, sonorous, and tightly defined for this format, while the specially chamber-damped textile-dome tweeter yields a silky, incredibly detailed high-frequency response without any listening fatigue. The crossover is minimalist in design (first-order acoustic crossover) and built with point-to-point wired components of audiophile quality. At the rear is a massive dual binding-post terminal, suitable for banana plugs, spades, and bi-wiring/bi-amping.
