Tony Fernandez - Mickey

• Hand Signed by the Artist • From the “Inspired By” Collection • Unique Original Artwork • Certificate of Authenticity Included • Ready to Frame A long time ago, in a studio not so far away… Veteran Disney artist Tony Fernandez casts the Disney gang as the heroes of the original Star Wars trilogy. Mickey is a wide-eyed Luke Skywalker, lightsaber on his belt. Minnie plays Princess Leia, her famous buns cleverly formed by her own ears. Donald is a scowling Han Solo, holster and all. And towering behind them is the funniest surprise of the piece: Goofy as Chewbacca, with bandolier, fur and his unmistakable buck-toothed grin. The heroes are armed with toy water blasters (Mickey's is actually splashing), a wink that turns the galaxy's most famous shoot-out into pure Disney fun. Behind them, the classic 1977 STAR WARS logo gives the composition the impact of a vintage movie poster. ▸ Acrylic and ink on art paper ▸ Format: 36 x 35 cm ▸ Unique original artwork, hand signed by the artist Tony Fernandez is one of Europe’s most respected veteran Disney artists, with more than 35 years of experience drawing some of the studio’s most beloved characters.
